Under the generous patronage of His Excellency Prime Minister Eng. Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani, and within the framework of the National Youth Development Initiative, and in cooperation with the Supreme Council for Youth and the Department of Non-Governmental Organizations, the Green Documents and Programs team at Al-Manara University in Maysan Governorate organized an intensive training on awareness of sustainable documents. These documents include national decisions, legislation, policies, and strategic plans supporting sustainable development, as well as international directives such as multilateral agreements, instructions, and recommendations aimed at promoting climate action.
The workshop aims to enrich youth’s knowledge with the most important information that will help them develop their academic research and advance their careers, particularly regarding how to integrate environmental and social needs with the labor market. How to promote and invest in cultural heritage in architecture and integrate it into the Sustainable Development Goals is an important step, and we highlighted ways to achieve this.
The event also included a presentation of the most prominent government initiatives aimed at improving the environmental situation in the dear south, along with valuable suggestions from youth on developing work paths based on sustainable documents.
